Welcome to First United Methodist Church, Corpus Christi! Located right on Corpus Christi Bay, First Church is a vibrant congregation, serving Christ in a multitude of ministries. A first look at the church has a statue of Jesus, arms opened, facing the bay, with the words, "It is I" inscribed on the base - bringing to mind the scripture from Matthew of the stilling of the storm. First United Methodist Church stands to remind us all, "It is I--do not be afraid." God is with us--we are never alone!
