Angel Food provides groceries at a reduced price to anyone in the community. There are no qualification or restrictions. Food selections vary by month. Any item on the menu in any quantity the customer wants may be purchased online 24/7 or at the church during our order taking period. You can help this program grow by placing an order to purchase groceries for yourself or for any other person or organization you choose. Volunteers are always welcome for spreading the word about Angel Food, taking orders, or working on Distribution Day. Payment can be made by cash, money order, Lone Star Card, or credit/debit card.
This mobile medical van comes to FUMC two Mondays per month. Medical and prescriptive care is offered to people in an attitude of dignity and honor for each individual. The “working poor” often seem to be those who are neglected for medical attention.

Prayer Quilt Ministry
Volunteers gather weekly to piece together simple lap quilts. As each knot is tied, a silent prayer is offered for those in special need. The quilt is then given to a person in special need of a blessing and prayer. They are easy and fun to make. We have a brief weekly devotion. Come and be a part of this important ministry.
